When did you first get truly excited about drifting?
Aside from being introduced when I was younger, definitely my first night out streeting with a few friends from my small town. I had just got my first S14 running about a few days prior. It was all stock KA, open diff, etc. but thanks to nature’s low power jelly falling from the sky, that night really lit a fire inside.
Who influenced you to develop the drift style you have?
All the friends I’ve met along the way, without a doubt. If it weren’t for them, who knows what kind of perfect height, 90 degree lock I could have been swayed into. Make your car look good, make it fun, and learn how to drive it eventually... because let’s be real, we REALLY suck at this.
What cars influenced your car’s style?
I’d be embarrassed to admit how long I’ve looked at photos of early 2000’s GP Sports demo cars. That was my actual end goal, bring back that vibe of simple and clean.
Why did you choose to take the path through drifting that you did?
Path? As in why am I still dumping my bank account into something that does nothing but require more money after each time I drive? The smiles, man. Competition gets taken too seriously. I want no part of that lifestyle. I’m way happier meeting up with close friends, driving as hard as we can, drinking too much after an event, and sneak kissing a homie.
