When did you first hear about drifting?

Automass 1, late 2011 i believe. I was out skateboarding and a friend called and asked if we wanted to go. I was very uninterested at the time but the dynamic of south suburban drifting became a breeding ground for many many sweet cars and people after those events.

When did you first get truly excited about drifting?

Not so long ago I stumbled upon drifting and was instantly drawn to big wheels, big aero, very low riding, street drift style, if you will. First I became a student, this is a topic where you either fully understand and embrace or it flies right over your head like a shooting star. After years of taking notes I made a conscious effort to embody the style and ideas of the players in the street drift scene, past and present.

Why did you choose to take the path through drifting that you did?

There was really only one path for me to follow (or consider) because everyone I started drifting with or watched locally was of a similar mindset. Lower your car and make it look nice, minor suspension adjustments, then hit the street. a fool proof plan to keep it simple and efficient all while looking nice.
